Note: As a charitable trust, HealRise Care Trust does not sell physical or digital products — our transactions are donations. This policy governs donation refunds rather than product returns. If you later add a merchandise/store section to raise funds, that will need a separate product-return policy.

2.1 General Policy

Donations made to HealRise Care Trust are voluntary contributions towards our charitable programmes in health, education, women’s empowerment, and rural development. As such, donations are generally non-refundable once processed, since funds may be allocated to ongoing programmes promptly after receipt.

2.2 Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Considered

We will consider a refund request only in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate transaction: If you were accidentally charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error.
  • Incorrect amount: If a technical glitch on our donation page caused you to be charged an amount different from what you intended to give.
  • Unauthorised transaction: If you believe your payment method was used without your authorisation, subject to verification.

2.3 How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 2.2, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at: Email: mansisharma8700@gmail.com Please include: your name, transaction ID/reference number, date of donation, amount, and a brief description of the issue.

2.4 Processing Time

Approved refund requests will be processed within 7–14 business days from the date of approval, and will be credited back to the original payment method used, subject to processing times of your bank or payment provider.

2.5 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • A change of mind after a donation has been successfully processed and allocated
  • Donations made more than 7 days prior to the refund request
  • Recurring/monthly donations already processed for a given billing cycle (you may cancel future recurring payments at any time by contacting us)

2.6 Cancelling Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring/monthly donation, you may cancel future payments at any time by emailing mansisharma8700@gmail.com with your donation reference details. Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle; it does not refund amounts already charged.

2.7 Tax Receipts and Refunds

If a donation is refunded, any tax-exemption receipt issued for that donation (where applicable) will be considered void, and you will not be entitled to claim tax deduction on the refunded amount.
